Northwood Academy
The mission of Northwood Academy is to educate students with an emphasis on college preparation, through academic and character development supplemented by the arts, athletics, and the humanities, with Christian values forming the underlying foundation. Northwood Academy has partnered with Lowcountry families since 1978 to prepare students for college, for service, and for life. Northwood Academy began as Northwood Christian School, a ministry of Northwood Assembly, in North Charleston. The school served an economically and ethnically diverse student body and grew from 80 to over 700 students.
