Founded in 1994, James Island Christian School, is a private, Christian school located in James Island, South Carolina. At JICS we are dedicated to providing students with an education that includes both a strong Christian worldview and a rigorous academic program.
By offering small classrooms with low teacher to student ratios, we are able to invest in our students as individuals and meet them where they are. Our teachers approach learning with a whole-child mentality, focusing on the spiritual, emotional, physical, and academic growth of our students. This approach is complemented by a partnership with the home, actively involving the parents in the education of their children.
JICS currently serves students in grades K3-8th. However, in the Fall of 2024 we will re-open our high school.
