Charleston day school
Founded in 1937, Charleston Day School is located in the heart of Charleston's historic district. The school focuses on fostering scholarship, integrity, respect and responsibility in its K-8 students. To meet the needs of the growing student body, the school constructed a 12,500-square-foot, state-of-the-art science, technology, media and classroom space, which opened in 2011. The school's unique location DOWNTOWN Charleston allows its faculty and students to utilize the entire city as a classroom, providing ample off-campus opportunities to explore venues of tremendous historical and cultural significance.
